La Sabranenque c’est une grande histoire d’amour qui dure depuis plus de 50 ans. Il y avait un ancien village médiéval abandonné et ruiné en Provence cachant son mystère et sa beauté sous la végétation, alors des bénévoles de tous âges de tous pays sont venus l’aider à renaître. Ils ont été depuis le début 5000 bénévoles à donner une semaine, un mois de travail pour la sauvegarde de ce patrimoine historique. Et ce grand mouvement de travail bénévole a redonné la vie et la beauté à ce petit village médiéval. Ce mouvement bénévole continue encore car il reste à protéger ce lieu et son environnement, à le garder vivant dans un esprit d’échange, de paix et d’amitié et accueillir encore des bénévoles qui veulent partager l’histoire et aider aux travaux à terminer

La Sabranenque is a wonderful love story which has lasted more than 50 years. This once was the ruins of an abandoned medieval village in Provence, hiding its beauty and mystery beneath overgrown vegetation. But through the years, volunteers of all ages from around the world have come to bring it back to life, giving a week or a month to preserve this historic national treasure. And through the combined efforts of these workers, this little medieval village has been given new life and beauty. This volunteer activity still continues, for the site and its surrounding environment need to be maintained and protected, the spirit of interaction, peace, and friendship kept alive to welcome new volunteers who want to share in La Sabranenque’s history and help complete unfinished projects.
